I'm converting bio-titans for my Epic Armageddon (6mm scale rather than 30mm scale) tyranid army using 40k models as a base. I've added a couple of photos of the old biotitan model I'm basing it on which I found online, as people may not be familiar with them. They're much larger than the old metal epic models (which were on 60mm round bases) but the epic rules and the tournaments I play at are relaxed about model size and it provides both advantages and disadvantages in game. This is the larger of the two biotitans, larger and tougher than the smaller bio titan FW sell (which I'll also model a few of in my army).

I decided against using the oval base that came with it as then the front legs would have to be modeled forwards and I really wanted them going more sideways like on the old epic model, so I posed it like that on a CD. The Tyrannofex weapons just looked too big on it as a biotitan and I wanted two different weapons on the front arms so I used those ones. I'm thinking of swapping the claw for a larger one from a Haruspex and modelling it crushing a Blood Angels Land Raider in the claw. I'll add a horde of little tyranids running underneath it on its base for the look of it and to help scale it too.

I'm cutting and repositioning the tail so it curls inwards but I'm not sure what to have on the end. I'd like to have a modern part looking similar to the old most of a circle blade thing but I don't know if there's a part that looks like this I can buy anywhere. Any suggestions?

Comments / suggestions welcome I'm also converting 3 Dominatrixes for my army using heavily converted Maleceptors as a base

I like where you're going with this! More power to you, and I'm also jealous of anyone who actually gets to PLAY epic.
