So I painted this model almost two years ago, and it was one of my first vehicles. I decided to melt it down and repaint it because it is one of my favorite models, and I wanted to see how much I have improved in the past two years. I did the chipping with a combination of freehand and sponges of various sizes and assortments. I did the white markings with stencils I made and some good old fashion AK Interactive chipping medium. I made the snow with Woodland Scenics SN140 Snow Flakes mixed with Woodland Scenics Realistic Water Effects as well as some good old fashioned epoxy resin. Finally the icicles are melted plastic forks (thanks Massive Voodoo Blogspot).

Nice! Did you add the tarp to the back of the grey vehicle? I have a couple of these i got to paint up. I may have to dig them out now!

Other than the turret I find this model to be abominable but by crikey what a painjob! Truly exquisite! The shade of grey and battle damage is top notch, the base really makes this mini stand out though. The pose is a good 'un too. Overall It's so intricate! Lesson for me here is to treat the base as a separate project perhaps?
Top stuff!
