Hello this is my first post on Dakkadakka, so any feed back would greatly be appreciated.
I've attached an image of a supremecy suit I recently finished.
I wanted to do something different so I did it in the FarSight colours.
The base itself I wanted to create the effect of a derelict old battlefield whare there had once been a giant conflict but all that remains now is leaky pipes and old rusty remaines of old imperial tech.

Impressive model and paint job! That's a check of a first post. The only thing I'd suggest is reuploading your pics so they're not sideways.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Lots of great elements on the model, but I do have some suggestions:

The black areas on the arm guns and the burst cannons, as well as the hips, have little to no visible shading or highlights. This could just be an artifact of photography, but it definitely looks to be the weakest part of the paint job, especially when you compare how well defined the weathered and dusty ankles are to the solid black hips.

Also, take some time to put some extra wash in the crevices of the arm cannons to better define their shapes - mostly I'm talking about the rods, but some of the boxy elements could stand a bit more definition as well.

Yeah Johnny welcome to Dakka! A lot of good people here with a lot of good feedback. I'm a tau player and got my taunar recently. Love that thing, other than the fact it went up over 700 points in game (making tough to play in most normal games) it's great! I just primed it today, so painting it over the next week or two, you got me excited!

Awesome model and keep up the good work!
