So I was playing around with the idea of creating a slannesh Army that is a more alluring than sensual. And I got the brain juices flowing and what I've thought of is creating a mermaid army themed daemon army. My biggest problems and concerns for this style of army is how I'm going to model the chariots cavalry and fiends. Just any ideas on how I could go about this? I want them to look majestic and regal in a sense any ideas would be great thanks!
My greater daemon of slannesh is going to be the dark siren from Kabuki miniatures
And my Daemonettes we're gonna be a fusion of the dark elf witches and either sisters of the thorn riders with their staffs or sisters of avelorn to make them seem more regal and I was gonna green stuff the legs.

So I had an idea of using elf charriots particularly the sky cutter make it look like it's skimming off water and green stuff some horses. For the horses maybe a seahorse idea? I could convert the slannesh helstrider miniatures into a sea horse then green stuff armor and for the fiends maybe hellish crabs? What do y'all think?

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I am not convinced, get some models as bitz and do an experimental build before sinking more money into this. GW is expensive enough without requiring parts of three kits for each model.

For alt-Slaanesh I would first look at a succubus based demon army, there are plenty of succubi models about. Mermaids could also work, but then just buy mermaids.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

That's true. I've been looking for good mermaid models but all I've found is reapers mermaids and they're just not good. I haven't bought anything yet though I plan on getting the idea together then buying the bits I need of eBay or something of that nature to figure out what to do with them. The succubus is a good idea I'll look around and see what I can find for succubus minis.

Mantic do succubus minis, a good range of demons IMHO. The entire line is painted in classic demon red in promo pictures

Mantic is pretty good I was hoping for a higher sex appeal to ephasis the lust aspect of slannesh but I'm learning that route it gets really hard to find miniatures for that are more alluring than aggressive
