Okay here's how far I have gotten with one knight. Other is around same level. Few parts unpainted in one and others on other(but same colours so I can touch them on same go) plus of course stages both are missing. One of them is metal edges like on the shoulder pad edges etc. My initial plan was to use vallejo liquid gold to make the gold effect I like. However having decided on yellow to go with green suddenly thought is that really such a smart idea?
Would silver be better after all?
And the other photo shows pair of weapons I have for other knight(that's magnetized. This one is assembled in one set). Tried for first time overheated metal. How did it go and other suggestions? Not sold on the blue colour there. Tutorial used cyan but couldn't figure what vallejo air would be closest equilavent.
Because you have yellow armor plates (shoulder and legs) I'd probably go with silver rather than gold as it will contrast against both the green and yellow.
If it was a solid green, I might have gone gold, but the yellow would push me to bright silver.
Looking really regal and noble. I would surely go for gold to continue the noble, clean theme. The heat damage looks fun too, maybe water down the paint a little next time or drybrush it on for more blending effects.
