This was one of the most fun kitbashes we have done in a while. Two of us sat down one day and conceptualized this fun Stormsurge! Bits from so many different kits we couldn't find them all again if we tried. This is my personal Stormsurge because I'm a Tau lover now! SACRILEGE! Here are some finished pics and a video of it!
I don't know much about the Stormsurge kit, but the stuff pictured is...unique. Not something I particularly care for, but it will appeal to the Saturday-morning-cartoon Voltron style fans.
I can work with Unique! We do dozens of kitbashes every month and this one isn't for everyone! I wanted an out of the box Stormsurge! And, who doesn't like Voltron!? haha
We stole that off the Vampire Counts Mortis Engine, there are tons of options you can really use this for, what a fun idea though. Would love to check out your conversion when you put these suckers on there!
