Been working on my first Tesseract Ark

I have a blue theme with my army, hence the color. Orange/red is my 2nd color of my theme.

I want to do something with the thrusters, not sure what yet, perhaps orange/blue heat-taint

also the top yellow light needs some sort of finish.

The blue and orange could use more depth of color. Its looking a bit cartoony.

I agree. I painted up the bits separate and then glued them together. Losing track of the overall impression in the process.

Something like a simple gradient going darker towards the bottom would help, right?

Going to the extremes has worked well for me in the past. But only experimenting will show. I've gone from almost black in the recesses to bright white on the highlight.
