I don't really show too much of my work here but my friend encouraged me to show this conversion to help encourage others

I got into Khorne daemonkin when the codex came out, always loved Khorne, had a bit of a fantasy Khorne army already.
what really got me started was these models from puppet war as a replacement for the regular Fleshhounds which I actually dont like very much at all.

I tried a a blue/white/red color scheme but it didnt feel daemony enough

So I went back to my favorite colors and a more classic deamony feel.

Satisfied with the color scheme I went forward and painted a bunch since at the time the gorepack was a big deal

Then 8th edition came out and generally made Fleshhounds bad which made me a sad panda.

But the new daemon codex came out and brought them back to the forefront. YAY!!!
Better even, they made Karanak a decent cheap HQ choice.

So I wanted to have a bigger badder Fleshhound and looked for options

I played confrontation before and had a bunch of cool models I wasnt using and that weren't painted.

The Hound of Scathach stood out as a very viable option.

I thus started on him, shaving off the human body parts, shield and leather straps off of him with a dremmel.

then I added a bunch of greenstuff to start sculpting the protruding spine, added a long tail, gave him a new face with 4 eyes and added some chains on him I had from my Bloodthirster box set.

Those are some scary critters - and yeah, the red/black look is much better.
