To expand my necron forces, I decided to go for the Mephrit dynasty next. The green rods dont really work for that so i have been converting my gauss rifles for my warriors. I've made two different ones so far and i would like some feedback on them
You can see a good pic HERE of the conversion GW did for the Mephrit dynasty Necrons in Shield of Baal: Exterminatus.

I think the model on the right looks best personally. Nice conversions though. I think it makes the Warriors kit look very smart.

Basically the same idea but with the bar cut off so that its basically the same as replacing the clear rod with the detailed plastic rod. A little bit of greenstuff and a colourshaper used to clean it up at the join area and its done.

The question is would you rather replace those four, or convert however many more Warriors you still need in your army?

I am thinking about maybe mixing and matching between the two conversions. Or just un-convert them all and go for the rods. The rods secretly look pretty cool too painted as seen on warhammer tv
