This is likely going to be a stupid question, but I just seem to find any answer to it. I have the 2 waist sections of my Contemptor which I realise fit together with ball joints, but there is a ball joint on top of the top one that means it doesn’t attach to the torso of the Contemptor because there’s no joint space

Huh? My IF one had a dimple that the other doohickey fit snugly into.
could just carve the bulge bit down until you get a flat bit so it fits with the pose you want to go for then pinning them both together.

Yeah, I have an Alpha Legion contemptor and it has a corresponding divot for the ball to fit into.

As OneManNoodles said I guess just shave it down to fit the torso piece.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

If that space if flat, I would call it a defect and just contact FW customer service. You are paying for quality, not for something you will have to spend several hours working on, possibly even damaging some of the othe details in the process.

Assuming you have the order number for this, ofc.
