ive made the terrible decision to make orks my primary army, and im sick of seeing the sea of grey on the battlefield. my question is, would using Warboss green and highlight/dry paint with Moot look good? btw im a fan of brighter ork skin hence why I curious of Moot.

Try it over model? Don't be affraid to try out scheme as only way to really see how it works is try it.
I'm doing my orks with waagh flesh+biel tan green+warboss green but albeit I'm probably aiming for bit darker than you are.

I use waagh flesh, with a straken green highlight and agrax Earth shade was after that. I like and it's quick. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also I don't think moot green would dry rush well. To thin in pigment. Painting highlights on doesn't take as long as you think. There tends to only be faces and arms on most orks.

I tried out moot green on some Grots and didn't like it personally, it's too close to pea green.
If you're looking for a super quick method, try Warboss green with a recess wash of Biel Tan green and see how happy you are with it.
Personally I like taking my time and highlighting up through Scarsnik green and 50:50 Scarsnik green and Ushabti bone. after the standard Waarghh flesh+Biel Tan+Warboss green combo.

These are Moot Green - Biel Tan Green wash - (Army Painter) Poison Cloud. It's the brightest combo I have found.

Think someone here had some stuff on spraying yellow and using green ink for the skin to give a bright green
personally I have a darker skin tone, but its a base (VMC Black Green) then a heavy dry brush of VMC Flat Green and a final light dry brush of magnolia emulsion for a dusty effect.
as long as you don't have the scratchy look of bad dry brushing ork skin seems to look decent when done quickly as its textured enough to work
find a couple of models the assembly of which you're not overly happy and have a play - but for gorks sake find something you can do without wanting to kill yourself for starting it
