Subject: Grey Knight models in space marine army - paint scheme help
The background behind my chapter is that they are exorcists successors (which are in turn Grey Knight successors) so i using Grey Knight strike squad models as Veterans.
My paint scheme for the standard marines is the exorcist red with white arms and legs like the Mentors Chapter. Then any specialists like devastators will have a colour on the top of there helmet. Blue for devastators and yellow for Assault marines.
So for my Veterans (Grey knights) I wanted to keep them with some grey Knight colours but also look like they are part of the chapter.
I thought of painting the left hand site of the model like grey knights and the right hand side like my space marine chapter.
Does anyone have a better idea as I think my idea might look a bit silly.
Attached are some images of the chapter for reference.
