Hi - newbie here, although have been around the world of gaming and minis for a while longer than I'd like to think about .... just back to 40k again recently after some years away.

I'm trying to identify what part has been used for the 'eye' on this conversion of a Nurgle Knight Titan -

I'd initially thought it might be the end of a heavy weapon, but could also be a ball joint for a limb or torso (?) - or even more than one piece, bashed together ? I'm imagining the horn, slime and cables aren't part of the original.

I'm hoping the collected wisdom of the forum may help me out - no doubt it will turn out to be something really straightforward ... !

Maybe a marble, its hard to say. I looks perfectly round, so its not sculpted.

zoomed in like that, even though I know its wrong, it reminds me of the goggled eye head bit in the big mek mega armored ork kit

Plague drone? Thingy?

Well, what it is sat on is the big plague censer thing from the front of the plague furnace. Could simply be sculpted- looks easy enough to replicate.

I'd go on GWs website I remember seeing something similar some place with the death guard line. A big red eye.

It's on a Knight, that Blighthauler lens would be far, far too small.

To be honest I don't think it's a readily available bit from a GW (or even any wargaming) kit. It could just be half a small ball of some sort or a marble as suggested above. Basically, anything spherical/hemispherical of the right dimensions + greenstuff and/or plasticard to integrate it.

Dont know what the 'ball' is but its mounting looks like its from a baneblade main gun.
