House Hawkshroud has white on it, but with time, I've learned you don't want to go all the way to white as you can't highlight it at all. That said, should I keep the white parts at Ulthuan Grey or go for full White Scar?

Another option might be to paint it white and then use shades to provide depth, rather than highlighting to white?

I recently painted my knights in the Taranis scheme, which also has white armour panels.

I went for off-white with some darker areas around the bottom of the panel. See example and the colours used below:
