I recently entered a local GW Halloween painting comp. To enter you had to buy a blind box which had a single mini in & 3 paints in that you had to incorporate somewhere (however small) in your scheme on the mini. The theme was ofc Halloween/spooky. I pulled this commissar & Kabalite Green, Stegadon Scale Green & the green gem paint & this is what happened!

I cut off his original face from the nose downward & resculpted with greenstuff & also added the tentacles with greenstuff. The shoulder ornament is from the Isharann Soulscryer. I don't normally convert & this is the first I've done with GS sculpting work.

Base is made from coffee stirrers & the rope is GS also.

Had a lot of fun with this, was going for a more subtle spooky theme - inspired by things like Cthulu, Davy Jones, General Stukov etc. I'd never normally paint IG so this was a bit of fun He came second in the comp overall.

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

First things first. HERESY!

Secondly, that is a top notch conversion!

My first thought was how he looks like a young futuristic Captain Davy Jones. But you know that's just because of octopus face. He truly looks like a mutant with a bone to pick with the normies. Congrats!
