Basically an easy how to make tutorial for any tarp/piece of cloth that is not rolled up and attached/sitting on a tank can be for camoflague, identification or utility.

Can also be put over pile of junk(sprue and the like) to look like stowage.

What you require.
PVA glue
A vehicle - not necessarily.
Paint.(if you are using water based paint you may reactivate the PVA. Just be careful with the paper.)
Newspaper.

Okay here I have 1x Rhebok heavy IFV (Ramshackle games) I want a tarp on the infantry compartment to complement the two ration sacks. Give it a 'Long campaign' feel.

Just cut the paper, scrunch it into a ball.
Soak it in water so it is softer.

Put PVA on vehicle put paper on. Shape it, you want it to be a little crinkly but be careful not to tear the paper.

Add watered down PVA over the top.

Leave to dry.

Paint how you wish. I chose my infantry scheme instead of a single drab colour
You may need to double coat the primer so you have no writing showing through, this can be avoided by using printer paper.

Here is one I prepared earlier on a Vindicator. It's actually the first vehicle I did this to.

I might have to try this for my orks. I've got some scrap piles I can practice on. Shame about the pictures, visuals would greatly help.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?
