Greatings,

Finally finished my Landy (or at least this is the point where I would like to finish it ), dedicated to the Dark Angels 5th company. Fully magnetized, full interior was painted. Also some smallarms in the interior if the xeno/heretic/loyalist comes far too close, etc.

Paintjob was made with different acryls, mainly with vallejo. Lemme know if you like/dislike. More pics tomorrow, if the weather is good for shooting.

It looks excellent, the weathered green in particular.

Only thing to improve would be the engine exhausts, they look a bit too orange for what's presumably still a high functioning war machine.

Thx, and you are right, I forgot to spray the smoke. Try to do next time.

Looks great but have a couple things that are not working for me. First, the blue power portion of the lascannons, it just looks out of place. Second, and this one is just more of a fluff thing grinding me, you have used a Ravenwing transfer on the left side.

Hey, thx for sharing your views.

Lascannon: yeah, it depends on your taste, I had the intention to create some contrast.

Ravenwing decal or not:
1. As I understood it is not unique to use winged sword as chapter symbol.
2. Fluff-wise: Since this vehicle is the 1st one of the 5th's it is a sacred and blessed by Sammael himself therefore it can be decorated by the winged sword

Awesome model, weapon sponsons should be in front of the doors of course, why do people still assemble Land Raiders this way??????

Dunno. Perhaps because they follow GW's instructions and examples.

Maybe guns behind doors causes a few more accidents, after all, it is meant to be a grim dark future.

And for the OP, I really like the paint job. Nice work.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

Guys, you are both right! It is a bit 40k in this way, however, the next one will be built with front casamata style.

Thx!
