Subject: Redemptor Dreadnaught and Dreadknight conversion
Here is my conversion from a redemptor Dreadnaught and a Dreadknight for an inspired custom character for open play warhammer 40k. This is my first time using green stuff and gone for a fur pelt look.
That's a nice looking combo. My only criticism would be that the cc weapon maybe didn't need the sword blade as well.as the massive hammer However, grimdark and all, the extra smashyness is probably warranted at times.
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
The reason for the sword and hammer would be that as it is technically modelled with both of I ran him as a dreadknight I could say he had either of the weapons. I believe the close combat weapon will look more in place once painted though.

Looks good bud! I wanna see how that fur looks painted up. I have never really used Green stuff, and have always wanted to be able to make my own fur with it.

Subject: Redemptor Dreadnaught and Dreadknight conversion
So over Christmas I have managed to paint the Dreadnaught and now just need to finish the base. There are some techniques for the painting I have tried for the first time those being edge highlighting and sponge weathering and I am happy with how both have turned out and with the fur pelts also I think I will make my own for characters from now on. What do you guys think?
