Basically i found just using windows "paint" is great for testing colors on your primed model, its not exact but gives you a good idea, works really well on tanks and stuff with straight lines so you can test out edging colors and see what looks cool. Like for e.g on my black legion rhino tank i used paint to do a faded red on two front panels, and it looked awsome, so did it in rl and looks and works great just like it did in PAINT.

Just a quick way to give you a feel of what some thing would look like, im sure there's other ways but yeh i thought id just say this any way.

Well theres no point really posting it but i could if you want. I just simply shaded some red and dark red on the 2 front panels of my rhino and decided it looked cool, then tried it in real life and it looks pretty much like the way it did on paint ( not 100% accurate ) but gives you a quick rough idea.

So its good for quick rough ideas, like edge highlighting for e.g would be easy 2 do on paint, and you would get a good idea from that.

in paint i did mroe of a straight line fade, but this gave same effect even though its not straight, still gave same effect as it did in paint.

So yeah i decided to add that to all 7, ill do the same on two back panels of the tanks.
