I’m looking to add some cheap minis to my collection to improve my painting and RB seems decent for the price, but some look downright terrible, whilst others like the Orge Guard looks awesome.

I would work with the WotC pre-primed ones myself. $5 for two figs is a good price and they look much better.

Utilizing Careful Highlighting





Little late, but generally the larger bones are pretty solid--the smaller details of faces and the like tend to get thin on man sized bones.
Anything ogre sized or better works pretty good. Crappy painted examples below.
