I have this idea for a certain base for my TSons. I want a bright red sand/stone base with purple crystals to pop with color like in the pictures. But not sure what would be better route for looks. First idea are these tiny red fish aquarium pebbles or secondly if I should go a Armageddon dunes textured paint then painted khorne or wazdakka red.
Personally think purple with red super fine sand dunes would look better and fit with Tsons.
also with the aquarium rocks, pinning or gluing models down may be hard. or if the model is glued first may make them look like they are sinking into rocks.

Where did you get the tiny plastic amethyst looking stuff? Need it for bases. Oh and use Baking Soda on your basses to get pebbles and sandy effect. Paint and use highlights to get the effect that you want. Like Red to orange to yellow all very bright
