I am working on my beasts of chaos right, and then I was like, ya know what these buggers need?
Brindle!
Problem though, how the HECK should I go about this? I was considering base coat then dry brush the brindle on, or rough mixing my paints, but I was curious if anyone has done this.

Adorable pupper added to show what I mean.

I would say take a wide flat brush and stipple on the dark area's because they are sort of striped looking. Then go back with a 1 direction drybrush with the light color to diffuse the dark spots, and make it more fur like.

As the hair kind of goes front to back in direction I would simply randomly and lightly drag the brush in short strokes in that direction.
