Little tricky to ask Google how to improve his own model painting wise, this is what Dakka is used for. *shrugs*

The image is a bit dark, but the paints look a bit thick, watering down would be a good start. Also learn to dry brush metallic paints on as those are easily the worst to just slap paint on, always looks a mess do to the pigments. Take a brighter picture and maybe we can give better steps forward

Sure sure, and dakka told him about edge highlighting and washes. Google does a much better job at describing what those things are than one guy writing a forum post.
