Hi all,

For a conversion i'm working on i need LOTS of greatcoats legs, the two below are from the Chaos Cultist kit and a Company Commander, does anyone know a similar or close enough model i could use? Preferably GW models only, my local store is quite strict about that (fair enough you know they have to sell those products) and eventually i want to use them for tournaments when im experienced enough.

Look like skitarii vanguard's. Have you thought about using the ones from the skitarii box?

There arent many gw greatcoats outside of cutting up legacy models (steel legion) or forgeworld (DKK)

only real option for large quantities of greatcoat legs would be 3rd party but it sounds like that isnt an option.

You may be stuck practicing Greenstuffing.

There's a lot of decent third-party options, but the GW range is pretty dry for greatcoat legs... Depending on your budget you could cut some Death Korps models in half? You'd have to find a use for the top halves though...

Bitz websites are an option too; Bit and Kits and Bitsbox are two good UK bases ones, though you may find that there is limited stock on that kind of part.

Have you looked into the WHFB/AOS range? I've used the old High Elf archer legs to make Tallarns and Empire Huntsmen on other IG models... A bit of GS to de-fantasy them, think pockets and pouches, and maybe re-sculpt their footwear and that could work for you
