Subject: Advice please? Paints to replicate 80s titan colour?

I want to paint up a dozen or so AT Legio Solaria titans to use at Epic tournaments. I’d like to use a similar sponged then washed technique used by Lee Marshal to paint the green on his AT Solaria titan here (he sponged Caliban Green, sponged Pallid Wych Flesh, washed with Biel-tann Green and sponged once more with Pallid Wych Flesh).
Rather than the turquoisey-green of modern Solaria I want to use the luminous yellowy green colour tone the original 80s Adeptus Titanicus era ones had in the second photo brlow, though on the modern models. What colours could I use to achieve such a colour? (I’ve used GW paints up to now but could vary) After breaking my wrist in an accident I have 6 more weeks off work (so loads of time to paint) but also very little money to spend on experimenting with loads of different paints. I've not painted much this last decade so I'm a bit rusty and not so familiar with current paint colours. Thanks!

I believe you achieve that colour by putting the models in a bag with some dog poop and shaking the bag until it stops clunking, thus ensuring a good solid coat.
Plus, everyone's monitor is a little different and the colour won't come true on each computer.
But, if I were to take a less asinine guess, I'd say it's bone white with some goblin green tinting around the edges. "Goblin Green" was a yellowy green. You could likely achieve something similar today with a yellowy green wash that GW sells.
Dog-doo shake and bake would probably look better, though.

Looks like they were done with *skull white* (that’s what it used to be, and there weren’t based and layers back then) and then washed with a mix of yellow and green ink.
There wasn’t a distinction between glazes and shades back then. We just had ‘ink’.
Yes I’m old. Get off my lawn.
The yellow shade these days is a bit orange to do that though I think. You could try it with watered down biel-tan green, I guess?

In all seriousness, when I look at these I’m seeing an off-white base, which is why I’ve suggested bone white, which had a slightly cream/brown colouration.

Looks like a (near)white base colour that has been glazed with something like Bilious Green. GW don't make that colour any more - it was a much more vibrant and yellow-green than Goblin Green.
