Some time ago, I bought an Inquisitor Car from Wargame Exclusive because I loved the model. I didn't know if and when I will ever be able to use it.
But I thought that any vehicle goes with Ravenwing, right?
The size of the model (quite smaller than what I expected) and the introduction of the Ravenwing Liutenant in 8th (without a specific model if not the old Sammael conversion kit) created the perfect opportunity to build something new.

  • The original model has been slightly converted adding a couple of shield (also from WE) and a couple of Heavy Bolter. The model has also magnets to attach two Assault Cannon or a big smokescreen for the few occasion in which I use it as a Darkshroud.

  • The paintjob was my first attempt at marble. Quite satisfied with the results. I know that a solid black would has been a more consistent choice with a Ravenwing... but I both wanted a separate color for my RW HQ, and I wanted to tone down the "batness" of the model.

  • The scenic base is created to give the model a profile equal or slightly larger than a standard Land Speeder (in my games, I consider the layer of asphalt as being part of the model... but I ignore the underlying metal support. It's approximately a 10%-20% larger than a Darkshroud)

  • If you see a couple of white spot of chipped area, that's because a friend at the club dropped it (and my chapeau to Wargame Exclusive: it made an extremely bad fall, but broke only and exactly in the two original pieces without more serious damage)

  • C&C welcome, about everything (except the quality of the picture, I know they are abysmal)
Those four are big closeup without the base, those below attached are the final model with base and a few shot of comparison with a standard Speeder (with bad lighting, sorry!)

I can't condone a place where abusers and abused are threated the same: it's destined to doom, so there is no reason to participate in it.

    Interesting!

Edit -- whoops confused them with Artel W. I can already vouch for wargame exclusive. Their stuff is great!
