This gallery is devoted to my emerging 30k night lords army, known as Malenbrach's Murderers. I will expand it as the army expands.

After a few trials of different paint schemes, I have created a prototype which will form the basis for the rest of the army's color scheme. Meet Legionnaire Karex of the first terror squad.

Painting method: mainly used wet blending and ink glazing followed by a fine edge highlight to get the main armor's gradient, basic basecoat+wash+layer process for smaller details. OSL was done by creating homemade glazes out of orange and red and applying them to gunmetal & casing. The knife is vallejo metal color gunmetal and silver, basically screwing around with those colors until I got the look I liked, which was vaguely inspired by some NMM stuff I'd seen.

Sergeant Khazon is the most unhinged of Malenbrach's killers. Here, he brandishes a decapitated skull while pointing at his next victim.

Khazon was heavily converted, using the plastic mk4 kit, the puppetswar vampire shoulder & head, a skull from a beastman banner, a pointing hand from a grey knights kit, and a buncha cutting on the right arm to reposition it. The chainglaive is FW. His base is cork, sand and sprue.

The crowbeak-pattern ground attack craft, inspired by Reaperman2020's land speeder tempest, was adopted as an alternative tank hunter to the javelin attack speeder. i built this out of the land speeder, the drop pod and the devastator kits. The first photo is pre-weathering, the second is a close-up to show the dust & chipping effects.
