Here is my first real attempt at NMM. I'll put this finished guy in a small display base eventually.

Credit ought go to Gareth Nicholas and Flameon's tutorials and KnightErrants work in progress NMM Grey Knight. I drew inspiration from all of them.

Criticisms most welcome!

Amazing work, as mentioned, the axe is incredible.

Was that all done by hand or is there some subtle (and extremely detailed) airbrush work in there?

Very nice, the cloth and metal armour is very vibrant and the electrical effect on the axe looks great, one of the best power weapon energy effects I've ever seen. Actually it might be the best painted electrical effect I've seen on a miniature.

I actually attempted using the airbrush for the blade edge to save time but it was not as detailed as I would have liked so I re-did it by hand. However, he back of the blade (not in this pic) I kept that way with minor glazing and touch up.

Besides for priming, part of the cape, and a basecoating I did not use the airbrush anywhere else. The NMM transitions I was able to achieve mainly by feathering and glazing.
