Hello All,

Here is one of my latest works. An OOP metal Warhammer Fantasy Battles Wood Elves Mage "Spellsinger." This model originally came with the large boxed army set that came out in either 2004 or 2005.

This model had been sitting bare metal on my shelf for year. Finally decided to paint her up. When working on her I found that there was some miss shaping around her right eye which I tried to fix but could not quite completely take care of. So, I did what I could with it.

I painted her to look like the magical energy is coursing through her body lighting her up some and giving her glowing bright green eyes. Since she was floating anyway to me this just seemed right. Her skin tone is a slightly different color than the rest of her but the old camera I have has a hard time with lighter colors. Someday I got to get a better camera. Oh well, it will just have to do for a bit.

I currently have her for sale on eBay auction if anybody is interested in her. Here is the link to the auction. https://www.ebay.com/sch/dman89/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_sop=1

I am now on Instagram too. #dmansminis #minipainterdman89

Thank you for looking.

Love it. Love when a mini sits for a long time just waiting for the right inspiration.

Keep on keepin' on!

Excellent work. I'm with you on camera issues. Mine washes out the pale colors as well, and is too old. Thanks for sharing. That is a min I wish I had gotten when it was available.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Exelent work.
That generation of metal wood elf characters are probably my most favourite GW range..

Very nice. Agree with others, the palette is well chosen and the execution is grand.

They were pretty good. The newer stuff seems so "dark"
