hello whoever deems it interesting enough to read this,

well now the boring salutations are out of the way, onto the pictures. well picture. as i only took one picture so far. these are made from bloodreaver/bloodwarriors from age of sigmar,
and other bits from chaos and rubric marines. one has sentinel bits.


one of the "marines" uses a rippa gun for a heavy bolter as it looks more impressive, and since it's not really attached to any ogryn or has space marine arms attached to it, well it was an easy descision.
the champion has a "backpack" made from sentinel searchlights, and sword from same kit. he has a zombie banner zombie head. snipped off and added because it looks cool. the rest have bloodreaver/warrior heads. all of them have 1ksons (1,000 sons) shoulderpads, because why not, khorne bodies , and tzeentchian pads- heresy is real up in this place.

i plan on making a whole army of these blokes. so far just have this combat squads worth of marines, but i own a chaos army i'm butchering and x2 boxes of bloodreaver/bloodwarriors so more then enough to build the infantry at the very least. until next time this is all.

ps: if this is in the wrong place a mod/etc can move it to a more appropriate place.

ps #2: i'm not really a painter, so "ymmv" obviously on enjoyment.

Sweet kitbashing, they've got a unique look. I like the helmeted dude on the far left and the Rippa gun Marine looks deadly!

I am on board with this. I have thought for a while that those beefy AoS minis could easily find a home in 40k. Some good dynamism in poses - looking forward to seeing the army grow!

this isn't really part of my "not marine" army, but i wanted to give it more attention all the same as it's cool.

@Grenb i sure agree- they have a unique look and it's a simple conversion. some of the poses on them i did do a few minor cuts here and there. not really noticeable except for the last marine.

@tzurk i saw your chaos orc/ork army with beastmen and impressive stuff. so i'm going to count what you said as high praise indeed. this is my first attempt to do non "wacky" goofy conversions and kitbashing. usually i don't bother worrying too much and it's a mixed bag really.
