Really getting into this scratch-built, cardboard based, terrain business!

Imperial landing pad for speeder sized flyers:

(2 layers of corrugated cardboard for pad and for base - strengthened and covered ends with toilet paper and PVA, cut kitchen roll tube for trunk, printed yellow and black markers and Aquila symbol - covered in PVA for durability, painted with acrylic paint, cut bamboo skewer painted with Castellax Bronze for pipe).

Looks good - how do they get up or down from it though?

Also, consider keeping all these in one big post - a lot of people prefer it that way so we're not clicking on twelve different threads to follow one person's builds.

Thanks for the tip!

Good question. It's JUST under six inches, so they can get up and down! I did think about putting some ladders or an elevator platform or something on. Might add it on at a later stage.

Am in the middle of building an elevator platform with a short, stepped bridge. Will post a pic here once it's finished and painted.

Took longer than I expected, but here it is. Modular terrain! Elevator and stepped platform to go with the landing pad.
