Made using cardboard parcel box (for the shell of the building), cut double-corrugated card for the steps and tissue and PVA to cover the holes in the cardboard and tape on the outside. Painted with acrylic paint and drybrushed with white acrylic also.

Trashhammer 40k! We used to salvage packing styrofoam, especially at work, for terrain but never painted it like you have. When we'd unwrap our receipt printers everyone would look at me weird as I take home the styrofoam and packing inserts...

Interesting! I've done cheap terrain before too. I drink a lot of bottled water, and gluing 2 caps together make good Barrels. (You want to drink water that has durable/hard plastic caps, sorta like a soda cap.)

I'll get you next time He-Man!

Haven't had much luck with styrofoam - although small amounts (as in, tiny amounts) makes good snow for bases!

Have done lots with cardboard though! Check out my gallery.

Thanks - honestly never thought of that! Don't use that many disposable bottles, but have a few caps and bits of plastic lying around - so will give that a go and see how it turns out!

Have got a fair few cardboard tubes lying around, too, but haven't decided what to build out of them yet... Currently working on a stepped pyramid for my Tomb Kings and AoS.
