At this stage iam thinking more looted tank rather than large troop transport like the battle fortress

Hello yes it is my own design which probably took 2 weeks to make and get molds made for casting

I have an idea I'm currently working on for my own IG army, that might also be interesting for an Ork looted vehicle.
I stumbled about this here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3963999
which is for 3D print. The idea behind that (which can be seen on pic 3-7 on this website) seems to be from an old White Dwarf. A kitbash of a wheeled vehicle out of Hull parts from a Leman Russ and Chimera, with a Chimera turret.

So I thought one thing from the whole STC principle should be interchangeable parts of vehicles and started planning to build a kind of Frankensteins Monster IG Vehicle, bashed together from as much Vehicles as I can sensibly get my hands onto. I will call it the "Hyppogryph" thanks to a name idea from Oldmate on the forum here (Hyppogryphs being "impossible" creatures even for mythological standards, as Gryphonnes and Horses are said to be enemies.)
I have ordered:
Chimera: lower Hull and front piece
Leman Russ: upper hull
Taurox: turret, Hot-Shot Volley Guns, Sidewalls, Tracks and suspension
Hellhound: Hull Multimelter
Sentinel: Energypacks, exhausts, sensors, searchlight.
And I still have some Tires lying around.

A similar project could be something for you, possibly? slap together everything your Orkmek found on a battlefield, could even be from multiple factions, Admech, some Armiger legs, a Space Marine turret etc. and see what crazy abomination he puzzles together.

This is an awesome idea cobbling together different parts from imperial tanks little bit hear little bit there.
Rather than trying to use just one kit lots of diffent parts

I did not know they even did data cards for this tank is it from 2nd addition ?

I honestly don't know. I guess I will try to come up with some fitting stats and points costs and just ask a potential opponent if he is cool with it.

I really like to see some variance on the table modelwise, that's why I really enjoy all the work a lot of ork players put in their collections

This Battle fortress looks awesome. I checked your eBay, and the trucks you've done are also pretty Boss.

I think it’s a lot easier to do Ork conversions as you don’t have to be so neat and tidy plus I think people like to convert or make there own Ork stuff as ork Vehicles in general dont get a lot of attention from GW & forgewolrd
