FMA is still Good, Brotherhood is just Better. I'd still say watch both, and due to how filler/lack there of is handled, you definitely want to watch FMA before you watch Brotherhood.

Does anyone know if there's ever been a GOOD battletech Anime? I thought for sure there had been a proper anime and not just that one lame TV show from the 90s?
I like battletech over Gundam because Battletech mechs are actually realistic and practical. Not that I don't like Gundam, I just like the realistic mechs of battletech

Battletech only had one official anime. if you want some kind of compromise, try watching macross. You might recognize some of the old unseen mechs like the wasp and the phoenix hawk and the marauder.

Ahahahaha!! "Realistic mechs". HAHA you amuse me.
But yeah, I think you might be thinking of Macross rather than Battletech, if you're thinking of 'That one 90's anime'. Macross was one of those chop'n'crop multi-show mashup redub jobs that 'Murica producers thought were better or more kid friendly than the originals. It used Robotech and a couple others in it, so you could maybe look at any of the originals they had.

you could try looking up the artwork for current mech anime to see if any suit your taste more. Like Break Blade had some pretty unique mech designs.

Right, so I went through the 5 stages of grief thanks to Aldnoah.Zero's episode 12. Tears welled up on my eyes and reminded me why I hate war plots. Ya know, when you-know-who gets shot.
Denial: "NO! NOOO! NOT ***! IT CAN'T BE"
Anger: "feth this anime! feth this plot! feth sake!"
Bargaining: "Maybe *** didn't die. Maybe they are fooling me. *** couldn't die like that, no, not someone like ***, I bet ***is gonna return next ep"

Actually, "Acceptance" is still missing . Ok, this was only ep 12, tomorrow morning I hope to get EVEN MORE shocked with the final ep. so I can start watching this season.

Couldn't agree more. i'm enjoying all the light-hearted fun, reminds me more and more of GuP and that's such a good thing.

AH! That explains it! I download all the eps I was missing and it said ep13 so I thought it was all S1. In that case, yes, truly the ending of A.Z was "Code Geass" all over again!

Oh that's rather unfortunate. Has to make you laugh though that it must be one of the only topics in off-topic closed for length instead of for argument.
I just watched the latest episode of 'parasyte: the maxim' and it's really good. There hasn't been any fighting for a while but it's good. Plenty of morality and philosophy being thrown into the show. It's infinitely better than any harem anime. I mean i'm a pervert but anime these days seems to be made for people that are infinitely bigger closet perverts than me. No offense intended ;P.
