I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.
Was using Gundam as a means to describe Danboru Senki.
Thats not right...Thats not right at all.
Gundam is the mother of REAL ROBOT mecha anime.
Thats SUPER ROBOT anime.
Gundam is also a major toy commercial, and not all of the series are Real Robot style. Take G, Gunpla Builders, and the upcoming series as examples. Danboru Senki is a fantastic mix of Gundam Model Kits and wargaming, I'd love to see a Warhammer or WarmaHordes series done in this same style.
And that is why you hear people yelling FOR THE EMPEROR rather than FOR LOGICAL AND QUANTIFIABLE BASED DECISIONS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE MAJORITY!

Just acquired Black Heaven, on good reviews. Heard it was sorta kinda like Macross 7, which I just finished and was not at all impressed with, but done right.
And continuing my kick with terrible series from great franchises, I just started ZZ Gundam last night, god help me.
Also been slowly working through High School of the Dead, but I'm having a hard time staying motivated with that one too.

I've got to ask, you know in the last but one episode, the whole Ms Yuki in the bunny outfit doing track & field training, is it me or did the writer go 'oh wait, this is an anime and needs some sort of gratuitous pervy scene!'
The ending was a bit of a suprise to me, I was kind of expecting it to rip into a massive uber-loud version of the Cautionary Warning riff, but then he does the new song he wrote instead. Kind of glad they left it open for a sequel though (despite it not materialising any time soon)...

Like I said...surreal. It's a remarkably adult anime as well so the bizarre oddity of the bunny outfit actually meshes rather well with the whole thing. I liked!

Don't watch anime - at least not regularly. Last one I saw was Gake no Ue no Ponyo.
I do, however, keep up with about a dozen or more different manga each week, as they come out. Some of them have animes, and a bulk of them should if they don't already.

I've read that manga. It's interesting, just wish it would update on a more regular basis.
Though the series I've read that wins hands-down in the "interesting" department is Highschool of the Dead. Great series, and supposed to be a really good anime, too. Just updates once every few months.

Because that is how they were originally meant to be...
Apparently the ending will be altered so that it isnt so emo and is more to what they originally planned.

Yes. It was awesome. A little short, but awesome.

I picked up the first episode of Hellsing Ultimate recently, which was a blast. The dub is much better than the original audio, IMO, and I can't wait for the FLGS to get the next few episodes in stock.
I'll be picking up Highschool of the Dead when it comes out on the 17th. I watched some fansubbed episodes a while ago and I loved it! Gritty realism can go die in a couch-fire; I'm just fine with my gainaxing and DOUBLE TAP.
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
