I always like the HANDS of the Contemptor-Achilles dreadnought and try to use it on the ordinary contemptor dreadnought.
Try to install a regular powerfist on the arm of a contemptor dreadnought, the effect is like this.

Obviously, one first problem is that the “cuff” is too wide and wired.
so how fix this problem?

And second problem I tried to use those powerfists to make some weapon (such as sword, hammer) holding hands for contemptor dreadnought ,but there is very hard.
I know the dreadknight's right hand is the obvious proper choice, but I don't want to use it.

I think the first issue is that the hand sticks out too far. I’d suggest either recessing the inside of the cuff, or cutting off some of the palm / wrist to fit deeper into the cuff.

Regarding the cuff, you could shave the outside down, or I’d suggest killing two birds with one stone... reshape the cuff into a vambrace (forearm armour) that comes up and over the back of the hand (to the knuckles) but leaving the inside expose to be able to make a fist.

Bonus points if you make the end of the vambrace into a weapon like a dagger or brass knuckles sort of idea.

The extended vambrace will give lots of mating area to glue the hand onto.

replace forearm with 9mm diameter plastic tube.

Rivet that tube up and I think that's a good fit!

good idea.

but in this way, it must make a "narrowed cuff". there was no suitable materials, and it difficult to make regular shape with green stuff.

and here's another problem:

this conversion should completely change the structure of the forearm, so the original built-in weapons(stormbolter, flamer, meltagun, etc) can't be fited. How to make new built-in weapons for this new forearm and make full use of the original weapon parts?

Unless you’re fixed on using those bits, you could just use the “underslung” weapons from a standard Dreadnought, placed on the outside of the forearm, Grey Knight style.
