With the release of the new rules I decided I wanted a Big Mek with KFF for my army. However as well all know GW doesn't currently produce this model, so your choices are either to buy the OOP model or make your own.

I managed to build mine using a Boyz kit, a Nobz kit, and a Meganobz kit. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and it got me wondering what other people have done to make theirs.

Please post a picture of your home-made Big Mek with KFF! Also, a summery of what your made it from.

Thanks

No one has done this? Or perhaps I posted this in the wrong section of the forum? This section seemed more ideal then the general forum.

here is mine:

Most of the models in my Ork army are conversions or kitbashes, because, you know, Orks.

This is what I did for my KFF Mek, based on the Black Reach Warboss:

I like the KFF staff, thanks for sharing!

Building my Ork force has been a crash course in learning to kit bash. Many kits don't come with all the gear options so I need to learn how to make them myself.

What's up guys? I've been working on this for a few days now.

I used the boss from Black reach set as it's supposed to be a BIG mek with kff. Massive stroke of luck is that the back pulls of perfectly to work on the backpack. I've been breaking up the shape as I use this model as a warboss so clipping bits a pieces.

Backpack is from Mek in mega armour and loota kits. Arms come from Nov with big choppa. I had to extend his forearms as it's a warboss model and much wider than a nob.

I want to put a shoulder mounted slugga like predator next.

Good to go I think. Arms are not glued for painting ease. Quite happy how this finished. It's the most bashing I've ever done

Please comment if you want on what you'd do differently.
