Long thought destroyed by Aeldari and Imperial intelligence alike, Craftworld forces bearing the markings of Uthuriel has re-emerged as of late. However, prior records indicating that no Aeldari of Uthuriel survived it's destruction may yet prove true. Dubbed "The Silent World" by Ulthwe, these eerily silent forces have been know to attack Imperial as well as Aeldari forces without provocation or warning and eschew attempts to make contact - reacting only with hostility. Having only been encountered briefly on a few occasions, their aims are unknown.

Uthuriel forces follow the same battle doctrine as other Aeldari forces, including their use of Aspect Warriors, but seem to make use of a strange wraith variant - a practice that is viewed as heretical by even Iyanden.

So - this is the start of my army of the dead featuring several custom-made replacements for standard Aeldari models. Right now, I've got my wraithguardians finalized and I'm in the process of working on Swooping Wraiths. I'm planning on making Wraith replacements for most aspect warriors. I'm not sure if I'll stick with my idea of a completely dead force and create HQs, or make the army lead by the living and let them drive tanks - following the idea that living Aeldari are too rare to assign to unprotected roles.

I have always loved this concept. The whole our race is dying so we send out civilians in fragile suits to die seems counter-intuitive. That is some excellent work on those wraith-guardians. Feel like giving any tips on where/how you made them?

Thanks for the compliments! I made them in Maya and 3d printed them on an Elegoo 3d printer. It took quite a while to get them just right, but I like the results. For my first iteration, I used Guardian torsos - but sources for them are really spotty on ebay or bits shops and I could only get ahold of about 20, so i ended up making my own torso.

It would be neat to be able to sell the range somewhere, but the highest resolution I've done (0.01mm layers) takes about 12 hours to print and there's still visible layering unless I sand it.

Here's the first iteration- after much finagling to get the joints to fit correctly:

You've done a great job. They really look like part of the "traditional" line, and fill the role perfectly. I know nothing about 3d printers, so cannot discuss the foibles, but if you do find a solution and decide to release some...
