He was without a doubt the most fun model I've painted so far, and as such, I put extra effort into him and he's definitely the best work I've done. He's just oozing with charm, especially that long face. This paint job was all about "firsts", my first time using a proper wet palette (Army Painter, it's incredibly well made and the sponge/paper are wonderful), first time using a good brush (W&N Series 7), first time using paint agitators (minor but the paint definitely was creamier), first time painting with proper lighting (splurged on a Neatfi XL) and it was also my first time mostly using Vallejo paints which worked really well. Painting has always been fun, but not without frustrations, this was the first time I've painted a model and not had any issues and I enjoyed the experience so much more as a result.
