for the first one, the big problem is that it's hard to install a built-in weapon.and I hate the underlung weapon style, which would seriously affect hand activity.

but for the second one,its fingers and palm looks too big

I know you hate weapons under arms but I will have to vote #1

For the arm #2, you are right the arm is too big, and it looks a bit too cartoony for my taste

Go with #1 and mount the gun in/on the shoulder?

this is a compromise design and it seems to be OK……but boring.

in this design,the original parts are used to the maximum extent. however, as the original FW stuff, there is only one hand pose.

for the design 1, it can be many different hand pose by changing its hands(powerfist from marines).

merely having a stormbolter is not enought firepower.

so give him a galtling bolter(24` s4 ap5 assault6 or 24` s4 ap0 assault 6) against light infantry in range.
