The webber used to be cute. 1 point for an assault 1d3 'flamer' range 14 that had an obscure bonus that was never ever relevant.

Bim baddabom 9th edition rolls inn and no longer is overwatch free, but the webber jumped to a shocking 5 point. 1 month pass and suddely flamers are 1d6 range 12, while webber is 1d3 range 14. Both five points. The disepointment continued.

To never expetience this again my 7 neophyte squads now have 2 magnetised dudes in each. I can noe give them any weapon that comes with the tide.

I just hope i do not have to change my mining lasers into sesmic cannons.

Sniping the glued armed of the half painted once was very difficult. Also drilling and getting a magnet inside those where hard.

Magnetising the unpainted once was relativly easy. In the arm sockets I used big and strong magnets. Green stuff them in place. Scrape of excess greenstuff and glue.

Also, magnetising the arms was very easy. I had a 1x2 mm magnets. Metal probably coulf sufice as well. The drill was 1 mm (I have several bores in different siezes.)

Keep all the magnets in a nice stack. Apply a piece of cardboard before the last magnet. Slot the part so the magnet is now inside the whole. Lift the cardboard and model 'off' the stack of magnets. Remove the cardboard and apply glue on the magnet.

I imagined it would be hard. It was very easy. Make sure you do not put any magnet on the wrong way.
