Hi guys!

Long time lurker, finally registered a proper account. Thought I would share my various projects with you as I finish them :-)

At the moment I'm mainly painting up Malifaux miniatures for 3rd edition to play with my wife, but am also painting up lots of collectors and random miniatures for other games I play or just for the sake of collecting them.

Most of my projects are posted in full on my relatively new site (anatolisgameroom) which is a continuation of my 10 year old Blogspot blog. Lately I've been experimenting a bit with making painting videos as well and posted those on my youtube channel just for fun. Anyway, happy to be here and hope you guys enjoy my stuff :-)

Thanks, currently painting up 3 more "Hot & Dangerous" miniatures (women dressed in historical uniforms from various formations) as part of a review thingy. Will post them as they are completed. After that I will return to painting Malifaux again, have some sweet looking Resurrectionists prepped and ready.

Hot & Dangerous season 2 “Astrid” from the Swedish 18th century infantry during the Great Norther War painted up. I had a bit of a struggle with the yellow color since none of the yellow paints I had gave a good cover. Had to airbrush the basecoat yellow and then paint way too many layers of yellow to get somewhere near the end result I wanted.

Russian 18th century Grenadier Natasha from Hot & Dangerous season 2 painted up. More pictures on my blog as usual: https://www.anatolisgameroom.com/blog/hot-amp-dangerous-natasha-painted-up

Third miniature from the review sample I received from Wargamer.pl and their Hot & Dangerous season 2 Kickstarter. This is the "Natasha" 18th century Russian Grenadier. Great sculpt with a dynamic pose, and another mini for which I decided to use snow and frost effects on the base.

Russian 18th and 19th century uniforms are really fun to paint, love the use of green color. I had a great time painting this one up and look forward to painting my 4th and final miniature "Celine – French Old Guard grenadier" from this range next. When all 4 miniatures have been painted I will post a group shot of them as well.

Thanks for the kind words IGtR :-)

More interesting stuff to come as I received a care package from my friends over at Kazrak Miniatures filled with goodies which I will paint up alongside the next crew for Malifaux.

4th and final Hot & Dangerous miniature painted up. Let me know what you guys think, and which of the 4 miniatures you liked the most. I posted a group picture of all 4 minis over at my blog as well.

I tried to use my noob non metallic metal skills on all 4, I think gold is easier than metal/silver as you can get nice effects with brown and red washes prior to highlight with white color. Wanted to try something different for these minis, and it seemed fitting.

Not much painting done this weekend, as things have been a bit crazy at home. But I managed to get some old terrain repainted and ready for our next Malifaux game. More pictures over at my blog:

Thanks! One of the sections is hand painted only, which takes more time and paint. The remaining sections were base coated and shaded with an airbrush and then highlighted with drybrush and stipling which was a much faster process.

Will post new pictures of painted models soon - working on a very interesting conversion that I hope you guys will like

In the meantime I’m taking a look at the Lightbox and rotating display stand from Green Stuff World. These are two fairly cheap budget products that can be used to add some nice features and improve your photography of painted miniatures and the like.

In this video I’m taking an in depth look at the lightbox and the various settings, and do some heavy testing of the rotating display stand as well to see how it supports heavier models.

I bought these on a whim as they were so cheap it would not be a huge blow if they did not work good enough.

Finished my Blasphemous "Penitent One" character last night. It was an interesting little side project that had some success and some failures to it. The end result is decent enough for a couple of hours worth of sculpting and painting to scratch a creative itch.

A bunch of WIP and painted end result pictures can be seen on my blog.

https://www.anatolisgameroom.com/blog/penitent-one-from-blasphemous

I also uploaded two short videos of the miniature using my rotating display stand for a 360 degree view against a black and a white backdrop. Those videos are available at my Facebook group and do not require joining or registering if you want to check them out https://www.facebook.com/groups/1908731826109239

Today I'm going through a mystery box sent to me by my friends and blog sponsors over at Kazrak Miniatures.

Lots of fun and interesting minaitures here, such as 28 and 15mm Chaos Dwarf stuff, preview production samples of the Cthulhu Investigator miniatures from the recent Kickstarter, a 54mm collectible Polish special forces miniature.

Check out the video to see me go through the various miniatures and give you both information on where you can get them and to preview the quality of the sculpts and castings.

Drop me a line on YouTube if you have any good suggestions for more 15mm Fantasy ranges that could work for stuff like Warhammer Fantasy!

A return to Malifaux painting after several weeks of side projects. Malifaux will be the primary focus of my painting untill the rest of the Resurrectionists that I have in my collection are painted up (roughly 12 models). Last night I finished the Rotten Belles which are part of the master Seamus and his Redchapel crew.

More pictures over at my blog, also, a video of the miniatures on a rotating display stand can be seen over at my facebook group.

Malifaux miniatures are always a treat to see, but they always strike me as looking so delicate. Clearly I am too used to looking at chunky Games Workshop models!

Thanks for sharing
