Hello there dakkafolks! I have created this terrain piece and thought i'd share it with you!

I started with a cardboard base, then build the body of the quarry with cork. Painted the cliffs biege and water green/blue getting darker towards the center of the water

Cliffs covered in green and brown flock, quarry filled with 2 layers vallejo still water and sculpted some ripples with vallejo water texture.

Trees were made using toothpicks, cotton and then paper, all covered in PVA. Then painted and flocked.

You can see some pictures from the process below

That's a fantastic looking quarry, really enjoy the ripples you added in there.

That is well done! And I really appreciate that you shared some of your method. That's a lot of work. Thanks for sharing.

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Thanks for the comments! This is my most successfull terrain piece yet, way above my previous work. It was a great learning process and I have ideas for some future projects in this standard.

For practicing water effects a swamp or lake would be interesting.

Also building trees like that I think I should build a forest or two. I want it to be a good gaming piece though, so gonna have to find a way to make the trees removable.

I'll make sure to post more if I finnish any other terrain projects.

Brutal, but kunning!
