Ok, so I got this DeffKoptas kit, and I have a few other ork heads left over from a kit of Kommandos left over, and I thought, hey, I want to put a head from that kit, onto the deffkopta body. buuuut, I'm nervous about doing it, cause that means Im gonna screw it up after if it doesn't fit. the head in question is the one on the far left, and I just need some advice.

Just do a dry fit before you try glueing it, and if it doesn’t quite work maybe try some selective use of a hobby knife.

I occasionally use a blue tack or some sort of sticky non permanent glue like uhu to dry fit stuff as proof of concept. Maybe it'll work for you too?

Plus, in case something gets messed up, you can always fix and repair.
It is a part of the fun process of conversions.

Don't sweat the technique

Orks especially have no rules when it comes to kitbashing and converting. You can mash anything together, in fact thats the "propa" way to do Orks IMO!

I always like to dry fit and test things out with blu tac before final assembly with glue. You just trim the pieces with your tools, little by little, until they fit together when dry fitted, well enough for glue to take hold anyway. You can always fill any remaining gaps with putty.
