Adventure!

Fed up with the 40K brigade waffling about their geeky lists and balance problems? Well, sometimes we like to take some time out for a damn good bit of exploration...

So, from Advanced Heroquest to Cursed City, lets hear about your latest expeditions into the worlds of warhammer. Maybe even show us your painted models and kitbashes? Homemade quests and characters? Anything goes!

Okay! Something to try and commit myself to. I have some Cultists from the Blackstone Fortress Escalation expansion I have got the base tones on. Need to spend a few evenings to crank them out and finish them.

Just discovered a really cool set of fan projects for Blackstone Fortress...

https://www.figma.com/proto/22R4U2qeaPJieFFHkq0JRv/BSF%3A-Index?page-id=534%3A2246&node-id=535-16&viewport=494%2C370%2C0.7167393565177917&scaling=min-zoom

...and very excited for a whole warband of Necrons!

Got an idea for a small mini campaign which would ideally use Necromunda games for scenes on Precipice, specifically it's market scenes. I'll be using Stargrave as it's much easier to implement, but the idea is to fend off local gang members while bartering with local merchants.

Okay, its Freeguild characters...

Elsewhere, there’s heaps of hobby and gameplay content for you to enjoy, including shiny new rules for the recent crop of Cities of Sigmar characters to use in Warhammer Quest: Cursed City. Taking a Freeguild Marshal and the members of his Command Corps into Ulfenkarn is sure to put a spanner in Radukar’s plans, and give you all kinds of new scenarios to try out.

...and the link for the curious...

Hear-ye, hear-ye and all that jazz...

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2024/01/28/sunday-preview-rotting-pennants-fly-high-for-the-flesh-eater-courts/

The February issue of White Dwarf is 144 pages of excellent Warhammer articles and images. This month introduces rules for the Insidious Infiltrators – a new Combat Patrol for Tyranids in Warhammer 40,000 – Flesh-eater Courts in Cursed City, and Space Marine Scouts for Kill Team. On top of that, there’s gorgeous photography of the Lumineth Realm-lords and the first Battle Report for Warhammer: The Old World.**

...Flesh Eaters will soon be chomping their way through the streets of Ulfenkarn. Hopefully they wont be as disappointing as this month's Freeguild offerings, that didn't even come on card inserts. That really was awful, when the inserts went to Space Marine data cards...yay.

On the more positive side the White Dwarf content for Cursed City is more frequent these days, and so there's a chance that it might get it's own annual...

...which is probably the first time we have something worth having for Cursed City.
