Hallo! I don't knows if its only me, but after a huge hype on Dorn tank i finally got couple of them and... I was dissapionted... I mean, its a huge step forward on imperial guard tank design, far ahead of Leman Russ Great War(in space) era type of tank to more WW2 in space, but still when i starterd to assembly my first kit i knew i will build it different way... So here i present Mars Alpha Pattern Rogal Dorn tank hull

An interesting take. I'm guessing by the flatter and more sloped profile that you're going for an even more modern aesthetic? Looking at the rest of the admech range, you would think a Mars pattern would be even more outdated looking.

I like the look a lot. I was also not too happy about the Dorn tank; always looked a bit off in my eye.

To be honest the imperial military park is quite heterogenous from "great war in space" of astra militarum, to flying bricks od doom fd space marines.
If You consider Mars Pattern vehicles, Mars Alpha Pattern Baneblade comes to my mind, which look as modern as possibile, aswell as MAP Leman Russ , which i have couple of and i think it look a bit more modern than a standard LR

The idea is to create from cut-in-half-Churchill design something more futuristic. The idea of adding another pair of support wheels was on the table, and redesign of the front part f the tracks, but i decided on more moderator approach...
