So for the next challenge thread (out from the shadow or smth) I was planning to make a new type biovore because I hate finecast and always wanted one for the utility and theme (I focus my tyra army mostly on sporemines so)..

Thing is, I don't like the spider look although it makes the proportions better with a smaller head and all.. also planned to make the back shield something more rectangle than wide (with a neuro back piece) but will need some greenstuff for it..

Didn't have many spare head options so cut proper a Hive Tyrant's spare (smallest head type I still had) to fit under the balloongun and admittedly did already glue it stuck..

I'm conflicted.

Mainly because of the proportion change.. but it does make it look a bit like meteor dragon from yugioh and thats pretty cool..
It's like a snapper turtle now.. heh..

The head looks reasonably sized to me. Although I'd prefer to see it with the gun attached (or mocked up at least) to be sure. I expect that it will add the bulk to put the other body parts into perspective.

Length seems fine to me. Plenty of short and relatively beefy animals out there. That's not a problem by itself. Like you say, needn't look further than turtles.

I like the spider look. Looks great IMO.

I think a slight hunch to the posture would help sell being slaved to the gun. Maybe tilt the head downward just a few degrees.
