Hi everyone, I haven't painted anything since I was a teenager (around 17 years since). Even when I used to paint I never finished anything and they looked terrible.

Recently got back into the hobby played around with some techniques on a couple of spare starter models and now, this is my first model in 17 years with a proper plan and intent.

It's clearly no where near finished but I would appreciate any feedback. I know there's a lot of room for improvement. So far I've only used highlighting and shading, I've never really used blending and glazing which I think I need to work on next.

Thanks in advance.

It's looking good. Especially for a first proper go at getting finished. Keep going like that and it'll look great.

Thanks very much. I really appreciate it. I'm really enjoying painting which I think really helps.

It's really a very good start! It has great contrast amd clean painting.

Only thing I could suggest is a glaze for the top of the head (where the antlers are) to tie the colours a bit more together... but other than that you are on a very good way. Keep going!
