So I started out with the basic tyranid color scheme but put a layer of blue under the purple for a mottling effect. The green is an attempt at a "glowy vein/crack" effect on the carapace.

What do yall think?

I'm using a 0 fine tip brush.

It looks more like a pattern than radioactive glowing.

I do like the models, but I'm not sure you're getting the desired effect.

Clocks for the clockmaker! Cogs for the cog throne!

Doing a radioactive glow requires an OSL technique. I've never managed anything that looks good myself.

But I love an ambitious project, and there's tutorials out there to help. I'd love to see you continue the effort and come up with something to match your vision.
