While I admire the gamesmanship here, the point of this thread is to see what the balance is... it kinda breaks the exercise to not add your 8k of order (please do),

I have very vague recollections of 100k?

I know a while back someone coordinated a world wide apoc set of games but Im more interested in a single location.

I think the guys at miniwargaming did a 10k per side apoc game over a weekend.

Here's what I can add:

Order:
Marines, about 4k depending on codex and list used
Guard, around 2300 and growing nearly every day

Dest:
Nurgle CSM, around 2k
Tyranids, around 1250 usable, around 3k once its all built.

So here's the "new total"

Order: 453245
Destruction: 376235

........pity Dakka can't sponsor this matchup, a million-point apocalypse game would be sweet to see!

Just thought I'd add what little I have:

Dark Eldar = 1250pts roughly
Necrons = 2500pts (+1250pts for a titan, however that uses custom rules so I won't include it - if anyone thinks it should be then please add it on

)

So new total is:

Order: 453245
Destruction: 379985

I can easily field 4k of necrons now a days with upgrades.

Just wondering, could we come up with a scenario that allowed us to do this on a local match-up basis? A day on the front lines kind of thing? Try and get as many games around the world at the same time; it would take some organising, but it would be really cool.

We could try and run it through a pinned thread in the Campaign Forum. Have a general story line have a roll call, set up some general rules, divvy up the resources, and then then have at it. I think it'd be interesting to see as well, especially with at least 800,000 points so far on this thread alone.

Kinda like Dakka Dakka's version of Medusa V.

Right, so now that we have over 850,000 points accounted for, you may be asking yourself, now what?

Well, the benchmark is pretty substantial and I fully expect that an official 1 million points will be reached within a few weeks, which gives me enough time to set up the next phase of this little experiment.
